Find out the real reason Frank Lampard is not returning to New York

It's fair to say that Frank Lampard has been an inspired signing (albeit on loan) for Man City this season. The former Chelsea man seemingly quit these shores at the end of the last campaign to be the face of MLS' latest franchise New York City FC, but performed a (not too) shocking move by being immediately loaned to Man City, whose owners also own NYCFC.
The initial terms of the deal were to be until January, by which time NYC would be putting the groundwork in ahead of their debut season in the competition, however, it looks as though Lampard could remain in Manchester until the summer. Lamps seems to be relishing the level of competition, but could there be another reason for his desire not to go to the Big Apple?
After recently unveiling an incredibly similar home kit to their Eastlands brethern, NYCFC have released snaps of the club's away kit, which is, quite frankly a monstrosity. Seemingly trying to be all things to all people, the kit mixes black, sky blue and orange into a mish-mash which isn't too good on the eye. Perhaps Lampard agrees, or perhaps he's hoping for one more Premier League title before moving across the pond.
