With Real Madrid hot in pursuit of David de Gea, Manchester United are set to make a £25million bid for Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris as his replacement, Express reports.
The European champions are extremely keen to replace veteran goalkeeper Iker Casillas with United’s De Gea, who overtook the Los Blancos captain to become Spain’s number one recently.

The Red Devils have therefore targeted Tottenham’s Lloris, who is reportedly disappointed at the club’s consistent failure to push into the top four, despite just signing a new five-year contract back in July.
De Gea has previously expressed his desire to stay at the Old Trafford club, but could be convinced back to his homeland by the lure of Champions League football.
United are expected to make a £25million offer to land Lloris if De Gea was to depart, with Real Madrid also preparing their own £30million bid to secure the Spaniard’s services.
The arrival of De Gea at the Santiago Bernabeu will push Casillas down the goalkeeping pecking order, making the former Spain captain a viable target for the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool.
