David Beckham Slimed In Gold

Plenty of athletes and celebrities have been slimed at the Kids' Choice Awards, but David Beckham set the new gold standard on Thursday night, when he became the first person to be doused in gold slime. Accepting the Sports Legend award, the soccer superstar was joined onstage by his sons Romeo and Cruz, who didn't seem to realize they were standing on a gold mine. Just before getting covered in the golden goo, David left the crowd with some inspirational parting words: "If you have dreams and you believe in yourself, your dreams can come true."
