Leading journalist Jamie Jackson joins the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast to discuss Manchester United's hopes for the new season.
Jackson also assesses Louis van Gaal's likely transfer targets and claims the Dutchman is keen on signing Mats Hummels, although he reckons doing a deal with Borussia Dortmund could prove difficult.
"The big problem is not having any European football," he said. "Mats Hummels, they would love him. As I understand it, Mats Hummels would like to go to Manchester United if the right deal came about and Dortmund said, 'yes, OK, you can go'. But would they do that?"
