Besiktas want Ba on loan - Chelsea striker close to Stamford Bridge exit

Chelsea striker close to Stamford Bridge exit

Chelsea striker Demba Ba is set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer with Besiktas close to completing a loan deal, Metro reports.
The Turkish club are currently in Leeds for their pre-season preparations and are extremely keen on bringing the Senegalese forward on loan, with the option to sign him on a permanent basis next summer.

The Blues have however been waiting for a club to buy Ba outright, however no clubs have been willing to meet the former Newcastle star’s high £80,000-a-weel wage demands.
Yet with Besiktas willing to pay a large chunk of his current salary, Chelsea could compromise and allow the 29-year-old to play in the Turkish Super Lig next season.
Blues manager Jose Mourinho has been has been rather busy in the transfer market this summer, having already purchased Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona and star Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa.
The former Real Madrid boss is also in talks with Galatasary in resigning Chelsea legend Didier Drogba to become a back-up striker as well as a coach.
Demba Ba scored eight goals in all competitions for the Blues last season.
