A Gunner Fan Shows His Frustration and Gets Arrested.

A supporter has been arrested after confronting Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger as his side crashed to a 2-0 defeat at Southampton. The fan ran with his arms outstretched in front of the Gunners' boss as he sat in the dugout late on in the Premier League game at St Mary's. Footage showed the man being bundled away down the tunnel by two stewards as Wenger held his arm out in apparent frustration at the intruder. The incident capped a miserable visit to the south coast for Arsenal, whose goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny gifted the Saints victory with two howlers. It was unclear whether the fan who ran in front of the Arsenal manager was a Gunners or Saints supporter. Police said a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of "going into an area adjacent to the playing area contrary to the Football...

Steven G set to leave Anfield at the end of the season.

The Reds skipper's days at Anfield could be numbered with his contract set to expire in the summer and LA Galaxy keen to sign him. The Reds skipper has just six months left on his current deal at Anfield, and is already free to talk to overseas clubs about a Bosman move. And with interest from LA Galaxy, as well as two other MLS sides, Gerrard could announce as soon as this week that his time at Liverpool is about to end. The Kop star has maintained that he is willing to sign an extension to his current deal, but senior figures at Liverpool are refusing to bow to his demands on wage and the length of the contract. Which has convinced Gerrard to look elsewhere, and the Los Angeles Galaxy head the race having made sustained and significant moves over the past week to lure him to California. There...

Find out the real reason Frank Lampard is not returning to New York

It's fair to say that Frank Lampard has been an inspired signing (albeit on loan) for Man City this season. The former Chelsea man seemingly quit these shores at the end of the last campaign to be the face of MLS' latest franchise New York City FC, but performed a (not too) shocking move by being immediately loaned to Man City, whose owners also own NYCFC. The initial terms of the deal were to be until January, by which time NYC would be putting the groundwork in ahead of their debut season in the competition, however, it looks as though Lampard could remain in Manchester until the summer. Lamps seems to be relishing the level of competition, but could there be another reason for his desire not to go to...

De Gea exit to start keeper merry-go-round?

With Real Madrid hot in pursuit of David de Gea, Manchester United are set to make a £25million bid for Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris as his replacement, Express reports. The European champions are extremely keen to replace veteran goalkeeper Iker Casillas with United’s De Gea, who overtook the Los Blancos captain to become Spain’s number one recently.   The Red Devils have therefore targeted Tottenham’s Lloris, who is reportedly disappointed at the club’s consistent failure to push into the top four, despite just signing a new five-year contract back in July. De Gea has previously expressed his desire to stay at the Old Trafford club, but could be convinced back to his homeland by the lure of Champions League...

United have NOT made a bid for starlet, claims Flo

Manchester United are still yet to make a bid for Norwegian starlet Martin Odegaard. The Red Devils are one of a host of clubs battling to sign Odegaard, who at just 15 has already made his debut for Norway. The attacking midfielder has been invited to look round Ajax's training facilities, while Real Madrid have also made tentative enquires to Odegaard's club Stromsgodset. However the Norwegian club's sporting director Jostein Flo has revealed that while others maybe circling, Manchester United are yet to make an offer. "We have not received a bid from Manchester United for Odegaard, so once again this is just speculation," Flo told TV2. "It might have come through the mailbox, but it has certainly...
